* 確定者という便利な言葉
一、韓国は現在も毎日、一万五千の検査をしてるが検査待ちが二万と、しかもこれがいっこう減少しない。それで最近はずっと五十以下がつづいてた。
二、検査しても確定としないで、症状がでてなければ確定者にしない。これでとりあえず感染を低くみせる。
三、とりあえず隔離措置をして、再検査、おそらく世界の例から八割は白。でも千、二千くらいは陽性では。で、再検査、これでも陽性なら、また再検査へ。これくらいやってるとの声。
四、その説明が複雑でついてゆけないが、感染者からでる陽性者の割合、陽性率だが、隔離期間がおわる土日の数字が特異。で、翌週の月曜と比較。すると不自然な傾向がでる。これも傍証という。

話しはこの辺にするが、当初は正直な数字をだしてたが政治的配慮から確定者という便利な言葉を工夫し発表するようになった、という。本記事はこの追及でない。これをみて慰安婦騒動とおなじ、不思議の韓国を見た気がした。さて結論である。

Mcewen defends murray tax plan as'reasonable'

In 2012, Murray-Oxley was among a handful of cities that sued to block the proposed law, which would have required the purchase and storage of all municipal bonds and required that local governments provide the full cost of municipal debt service. The judge sided with the state, striking out part of the local government mandate, but also letting cities decide for themselves whether to pass this ordinance in their own cities.

The law was overturned by the U.S. Supreme Court in 2015, a decision that Murray-Oxley appealed.

The tax plan Murray-Oxley opposes has also received the blessing of some major groups in the state. The state's largest pension fund, CalPERS, a unit of the California Public Employees' Retirement System, has said that the plan would provide a $2 billion boost to the CalPERS pension system over the next 30 years, which is larger than any other plan that would be funded under the plan.

CalPERS also supports the tax plan and argues that it would boost pension spending, but it says that's not the same as providing a greater amount of retirement protection for CalPERS employees. Instead, the plan would cut the percentage of contributions required by future employers to pension plans, so that employees wouldn't have to put up with more contributions than they can afford. And it would require the state to take a smaller portion of any future tax revenue that goes to schools and other public agencies.

One thing CalPERS does agree on with regards to the tax plan is that it would allow local governments to build and invest in infrastructure. Its proposal also calls for higher revenue from property taxes, including increased property taxes on homes valued over $750,000. But in this case, the money is earmarked for a school construction fund.

In February, Murray-Oxley said in a news release that it wasn't considering the potential of bringing in additional revenue to pay for the plan and urged legislators to "not let this be a red herring or a gimmick."

Henry to become coaching mentor to TPS

With the University of Texas at Austin's football program enjoying another year in its illustrious football program, Texas A&M head coach Kevin Sumlin stepped into the coaching role for 2015 with the signing of former UT football coach Patric Young. Sumlin has been a frequent critic of Young's coaching style and recruiting system but has not given up on hiring the former Alabama head coach.

Young has spent time working with Texas A&M's linebackers, defensive backs, offensive linemen, wide receivers and running backs. Young has gone to a number of places in the country recruiting and has had numerous players try out for UT as it has only recently come into full fruition and a few were able to get positions over the summer.

Young told College Football 24/7 that he wanted to come to Austin to teach a bunch of things but that the job search was the toughest thing for him to do. He was at a loss as to why Texas hadn't recruited after his time at Alabama but after speaking with the coaches on a team with the best coaching staff the game has ever seen, they told him he is the right guy for the job.

Young has spent his career coaching in the SEC so it's not surprising Young would come out and say he wasn't planning on coaching at Texas. However, the coaches on the team are already getting offers from other programs. They said this will open up plenty of recruiting possibilities at the end of the day when things come down the pike.

This news has not been reported in all the press in Texas or the league. Most recently, the Daily Texan got hold of the statement from the Texas Athletic Department and it read as follows:

Macklin tour of a different kind, where the players, producers and managers come from around the world who, in many ways, are the core of the music, its essence. But that's also where the heart of the show happens – the performances, the moments of music making where musicians come together in communities, and create music, play music, and make music together. Macklin is a great example of this: the shows are all intimate, the guests are often just as important as the musicians.

As I sit here, I'm beginning to understand why people in Britain love this music. Macklin, the musical genre called 'pop music', is about a generation of kids who are still discovering this music and loving it. I was here this last year, and I saw how this generation was taking its musical roots, which in some ways were more personal than popular – with bands from the suburbs, and with kids who were much more likely to hear what I was saying than my own.

To me, it's fascinating, and I'm going to explore some of the things I've noticed and talked about with other producers and people who know about these shows, to get a better idea of how this is done. There are so many ways in which this process might be done, I'm just trying to understand it, I'm just starting to think about it, and I'm fascinated by all of this!

We just had an evening with two of the most experienced producers I know: the two guys from Stompbox (who work with artists in the UK such as James Bay and A Tribe Called Quest), and producer-director Paul Oakenfold, who is also a major producer of music videos for films.

They were doing their thing, and doing really good stuff.

What do you think about the idea of creating a music event that is not just about one big, expensive show? Do you feel this has been a fruitful direction for the industry, or do you think the only solution would be to try and bring out more of a more personal element, and not simply create a lot of shows that focus solely on the music itself?

I think there is a real problem in that there is such a strong association between music in this society, and the fact that we just have music, and it's easy to relate, but there is a huge disconnect between how we relate to other forms of music and how we deal with music, with art.

Council snubs pallarenda housing plan, but says it will still create hundreds of jobs

The City Council voted 4-2 this afternoon to reject a project from Mayor Tom Tait to develop a low-density mixed-use park to house several low-income housing units.

The City's planning board rejected the proposal at its Monday meeting as a result of numerous concerns with the proposed property.

The board approved a proposal by the developer to expand the parking lot and to add on additional parking for high-rise offices that will have to be moved to the lower level of the project site.

Council President John Marshall was the lone dissenter from the city. "The proposal fails on some key points: It does not build enough affordable housing units; it does not develop more of a public realm; and it does not protect the public," Marshall said.

Council member Karen LeBlanc, a senior member of the planning board who opposes the project, said she's not worried about future residents.

"When we have these affordable units, they're moving to the city, not into my district," LeBlanc said. "The new development will not increase displacement or add affordable units to the housing stock."

The proposal would have mixed-use, mixed-income residential buildings constructed on the site. According to city planning, the proposed housing would include one and a half to two-bedroom apartments, 1,800 to 2,400 square feet of commercial space, and between 200 and 350 affordable units.

The city, in its proposal, says it will continue to seek private-sector developers for several low-rise developments, though council members suggested they would prefer to work with the city to work on an "agreement that will allow the city to support the development of the development" at a higher tax base.

City Planning Director Bob Bown said Tuesday that the board would hold a public meeting Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the Westfield Hotel to ask city staff if it wants the council to extend the moratorium on parking in the proposal area until later in the year.

"I expect we will continue to have discussions throughout the year," Bown said. "We can still work in concert on a collaborative solution that has the most impact for the residents in the area. That's how this works."

Council members expressed concern that the developers had not paid for construction costs but they had been reimbursed for the parking and maintenance expenses.

City officials are currently looking into whether the project should not proceed.

"In this day and age, when you have a single largest group of voters, you have two choices — take the two-year path, or take the longer route," says Liberal Leader Andrea Horwath after the vote.

But that route was ultimately vetoed by NDP leader Andrea Horwath.

In a dramatic victory for McGuinty, she lost the fight.

A handful of councillors were not prepared to vote to adopt the government's new budget, including Councillor Jaye Robinson and Mayor Bob Bratina, who refused to vote against the "Plan B."

As a result, there was a split on a two-year path, with council rejecting both for a single-year, $35.5 million budget.

"Our community's confidence in the province's direction is at an all-time low," Robinson told the council, while Bratina called the plan "unnecessary."

The government had argued the city had agreed to move up to three phases of the city's phase-2 budget from 2010 and beyond.

After weeks of discussion, the city decided on an incremental phase-2 budget to start next summer on $50 million in capital upgrades and to move forward two years.

The funding package was met with huge support.

A number of city councillors who voted against the budget – including Robinson, Doug Ford, Diane Deans, Giorgio Mammoliti and Karen Stintz – had hoped the administration would use this funding to push ahead with its plan for the planned $350 million-plus condo tower at Sherbourne.

That was a key component of the deal which the province agreed to under a 2011 election mandate, which was made public by the Liberals last fall, but was not discussed on Monday.

Councillors who voted for this phase 1 budget included Andrew Wilkinson, Doug Ford, Denzil Minnan-Wong, Giorgio Mammoliti, Karen Stintz and Janice Lukes.

Vegan activists fined over melbourne protest

Three vegan activists have been fined for raising a human skin monkey as a demonstration.

The protesters, wearing masks and hats, gathered at the National Farmers Markets near Melbourne last weekend for a vegan food drive.

They raised a macaque monkey that had not been seen on their own since October.

Randy Rennie, 48, of St James, had previously raised an 18-month-old elephant monkey at his home.

He says people asked him to keep an eye on the primates.

"I do not feel guilty," he said.

He is now planning to get rid of the other primates and build a new one.

"I am definitely going to do something different with the rest of my life, as it is probably about to get really good."

Mr Rennie believes raising primates on his property is unethical.

"I think it's not right to do it," he said.

The fine was a shock to his brother Kevin.

"My brother is not a fan of it. I don't know what to think about it," he said.

"You do not need to feel guilty. I don't even want to think about it."

Mr Rennie plans to appeal the fine but says there was no evidence that he caused any damages to the animal.

"If it was real, there would be a bigger outcry because of it," he said.
