シャーロック・ホームズ、赤毛連盟(二)

* はじめに
前回(2016/03/16のブログ)この前半を紹介した。ここでは事件の中心を紹介する。

* 依頼人のウィルソンがいう、やすい給料ではたらいてくれる助手をつかい細々と質屋をやってる
Wilson: I'd cordinall cover the wages accepted by a young assistant willing to conpel off pay, resolve to learn the business
Holmes: What is the name of this obliging youth ?
Wi Spolding, Vincent Spolding

* 助手がおしえてくれた。赤毛同盟が募集してる
Wi: Oh he's first grade. Couldn't wish for better except never was such a fellow for photography.
Watson: Ah
Wi: Yes, yes, snapping away with a camera every minute of years. And then diving down into the cellar like rabbit to develop his pictures
H: Into the cellar He's still with you, I take it.
Wi: Oh yes, yes, as matter young Spolding drew my attention to this ... ,Doctor, he came into office one time. With that very paper and he said, "Now I tell you what, Mr. Wilson. I juts wish to the lord that I were the redheaded man the same way that you are. Just look at the famous redheaded league. There's now vacancy."

* 事務局ダンカン・ロスが審査する。髪の毛を引っぱる。悲鳴。インチキ防止策という

Loss: Mr. Wilson, heaven bless you, Mr. Wilson It's marvelous, what a head, what a shade.
Wi: What are a hand large, Mr. Loss
L: But one moment, you will excuse me, Mr. Wilson
Wi: Garu ...

* 感想
今回からスペル・チェッカーもつかうことにした。単語の単純ミスはほぼなくなった。すると文法的におかしなところが目だった。意味がおかしい、体裁が不整合などとおもうところも。しかし当面は音をとることに専念するので意味をウェブでさらにしらべたりしなかった。完全な英文にはほどとおい。これくらいで先にすすみたいので、ご理解いただければ幸いである。
